Ethiopian Community Association in Dubai and the Northern Emirates (ECADNE) which is located in Al qusais 2, Dubai is a non-for-profit organization formed to provide help for needy Ethiopian people living in UAE. Ethiopian Community Dubai & Northern Emirates is a non-for-profit organization formed to provide a place where Ethiopian people of all ages and abilities living In UAE are encouraged and supported to develop their full potential through training, education and extracurricular activities In addition to counseling for individuals that need help with visa and passport issues, health problem and employment issues. Providing a close personal attention to each person in need is essential in maintaine a quality experience for all of the community; with respect to this adequate personnel are in place for proper supervision and attention as well as developing a reputable and sound community through quality counseling, education and training service.The community employed professionals to manage the day to day affairs of the community in conjunction with the Ethiopian Consulate General to offer dynamic, unique, and constantly evolving supportive programs and services. We provide Counseling service to the community such as:• Securing travel document (lesse passé) for those who lost their P/P and wanted to be repatriated.
Our Objective
Organizing a secular Social Club that belongs to all Ethiopians and Ethiopian born diaspora residents of Dubai free from religion, gender and race discrimination, which serves in its members on the basis of impartiality Embracing Ethiopians under the Club for; discussions on claiming their rights and privileges, supporting each other, updating them about their countries status, respecting and promoting social and cultural values that represents them, furthermore enabling them participate in their country’s development activities.
Our activities include:
Aiming to offer safe and secure counseling care and community services at all times we do:-
- Taking care of those who are in jail and hospitalized patients
- With our voluntary members we work on finding the address of families of critical patient.
- With our able members we raise funds and process Air Ticket for the needy
- Securing Travel document (lesse passé) for those who lost their P/P and wanted to be repatriated
- Assist in processing various certificates and any other documents that require Attestation.
